The Infrastructure Network of the Brasília Consensus, prelude of the Observatory

The South American Infrastructure Observatory owes its conception and implementation to the Infrastructure Network of the Brasília Consensus, as it was during the meetings of this body that the groundwork was laid to bring this ambitious platform to life.
The Infrastructure and Transport Network of the Brasília Consensus was established as a regional cooperation mechanism to strengthen physical and digital connectivity across South America. Its goal is to strategically monitor infrastructure projects that promote regional integration and sustainable development.
In this context, the idea of the Observatory began to take shape, driven by the need for a collaborative platform capable of gathering, consolidating, and disseminating information on infrastructure, transport, and logistics—both physical and digital—throughout South America.
